Press Trip - Paradis Plage

Last week Coffin on Cake PR were lucky enough to invite some of our favorite people from Metro, Zest, Super Super, Mixmag, Marie Claire and Look Magazine to Paradis Plage in Tagahozout - the very first Surf Yoga & Spa Resort in Morocco, all courtesy of Rip Curl.

From enjoying sunset yoga at the beach, to haggling in the Souk in Agadir, our friends in the press surfed with Junior World Surfing Champion Pauline Ado, before relaxing with spa treatments and a traditional Hammam. We feasted on delicious Tagines while wearing traditional Moroccan dresses, watched surf movies in the outdoor cinema, relaxed around a surf-side fire and generally had an awesome time. Here's what some of our guests thought of the experience, we're pretty sure they enjoyed themselves!:

Bel Jacobs, Metro - Editor, Style & Beauty:
"Our trip to Paradise Plage was one of the most enjoyable I’ve had in 12 years of press trips. The combination of activities – from surfing and yoga to sitting around the fire on the beach, and dancing with nomads in the Saharan tent – was both relaxing and stimulating."

Elaine Griffiths, Zest - Editor:
"This trip was a pleasure from beginning to end, thanks to a great itinerary and slick organisation by Coffin on Cake. The itinerary showcased Paradis Plage beautifully with an 'official' presentation and tour, plus a chance to sample the surf with the resort's instructors and VIP guests, join in yoga sessions with great-calibre teachers, and enjoy a treatment in the spa. Lauren also organised a visit to nearby Agadir; plus the trip was an opportunity for a 2012 Rip Curl preview, which was really useful.

Nothing was too much trouble and Lauren and the friendly resort team provided us with relevant information at every stage. We learned and experienced a lot in a short time. It was also great fun and Lauren was fantastic host. The fact that it all went without a hitch and I came away feeling like I'd had a very real - and positive - experience of how a stay at Paradis Plage would be, is testament to Coffin on Cake's skill and professionalism."
